WILL ELGER - THE ONE MINUTE BARTENDER
Will, author of the book, The One Minute Bartender. Started as a bartender and has held just
about every position in the liquor industry. Acording to Will, these were not just jobs, they
became a lifestyle. He began bartending in college and received a degree in hotel management and
marketing in my spare time. Then spent the next decade on cruise ships as a
bartender, bar manager and restaurant manager. He went into marketing for
some of the world’s largest liquor companies, working for a distributor and
supplier of 100+ brands, including Absolut, Jim Beam, El Tesoro, Sauza,
Geyser Peak Wines, and numerous small, boutique brands. Then went to work
directly for Bill Samuels, Jr. at Maker’s Mark, realizeing it was time to
start his own liquor brand. He got together with his twin brother, Dave (Host of Hotmixology),
who holds an equally impressive resume in the liquor industry, and because they
were born and raised in Mexico, we started our own tequila brand, Muchote (*
www.muchotetequila.com. To help promote
our tequila and other artisanal brands, helped Dave with
Hotmixology (*www.hotmixology.com, the first
consumer-focused nationwide TV show about liquor and bartending. Will is
excited to now be able to pass the experiences and the lessons both in front and behind the bar,
on to you. Salud! Please visit http://www.theoneminutebartender.com and order your copy today!
